hey! hisashiburi!
so it's been like forever since I've updated >.< gomen ne!
I've been pretty busy here, and also I didn't bring a computer so internet is kind of a rariety for me here.
also, it's not easy for me to upload pictures while I'm here. hopefully I can upload some when I get back to the states :D
I finished classes here in Japan. I feel like my Japanese improved a lot, especially being able to understand more.
I met a lot of fun people! I was one of the few Americans/native english speakers in my class, so oftentimes we spoke with each other in Japanese even out of the classroom.
I miss dancing! Here in the street a lot of times I feel like dancing because they blast music into the streets.
soon after I get back from Japan I will be starting school again. >.< I feel like I have forgotten how to write a paper!!!
also, sometimes I just say Japanese words even when I'm speaking English, like saying eki instead of station or jissho instead of dictionary. :P
I'll try to update again not too long from now! mata ne,
Sasha

Pics!
This weekend I spent most of my time exploring Shibuya and Harajuku, and then watching Japanese TV at my homestay. Japanese spongebob = amazing... i even took a video clip of Mr Crabs speaking in his awesome piratey Japanese accent. xD
harajuku in the evening:
I went to Krispy Kreme for a snack. They give everyone in line a free delicious freshly made glazed donut! is that the same in the US? I dont go there much
oishii sugiru <3
A really cool statue that I pass by on the walk from Shibuya to Harajuku.
Yesterday it was sooo rainy! I didnt have an umbrella either, so I tried to stay in dry places. Here is a pic I took from a cafe looking out at a busy Shibuya crosswalk. kasa ga takusan arimasu ne!

nihon :]
finally arrived in japan!
my classes started today. they are really fun, we do lots of mini excercises. I have a test tomorrow though... doshio kana... T.T (ironically, i dont know how to switch back and fourth from romaji to hiragana/katakana on this japanese keyboard)
yesterday after the school orientation i went to shibuya
-i explored for five hours o.0
actually, for about two and a half hours. then i walked to harajuku and explored there.
totemo tanoshii datta!
after exploring i went back to my homestay and watched japanese television. wow, im getting really used to all of the japanese game shows. also, there is this show for japanese kids to learn japanese... it's pretty funny. a kid will run across the screen yelling "hashiru!" again and again.
